Install the mobile app

The mobile app is available in the official Apple and Google stores. It’s free: your organization’s plan (free or paid) already covers access from your phone.

  1. Open App Store.
  2. Search for EFA Projection, or go straight to apps.apple.com/app/id6764185899.
  3. Tap Get and authorize with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.

Requirements: iOS 15 or later. The app runs on iPhone and iPad — on iPad it works, but it’s designed for phones, not as a replacement for the desktop app.

  1. Open Google Play.
  2. Search for EFA Projection, or go straight to play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.efa.projection.mobile.
  3. Tap Install.

Requirements: Android 7.0 (API 24) or later.

The first time you open the app, it will ask for a few permissions. Here’s what each one does and whether you should accept it:

PermissionWhat it’s forRequired?
Push notificationsService reminders, comments, assignmentsYes — without this, reminders won’t arrive
CameraOnly if you upload photos directly from the appOptional — you can skip and allow it later
Gallery / PhotosUpload images to the organizationOptional
Storage (Android)Save downloaded filesYes

You can change permissions at any time from your system settings (Settings → EFA Projection on iOS; Settings → Apps → EFA Projection on Android).

The first screen asks for email + password, or “Continue with Google” / “Continue with Apple”.

If you already have an account (because you created it on the web panel or the desktop app), use the same credentials — your organization’s content shows up automatically.

If you don’t have an account, you can create one right here: tap Create account, fill in your info, and verify your email.

If your user belongs to more than one organization (e.g. a church and a ministry), the app shows you a selector at sign-in. You can switch organizations any time from More → Switch organization.

Go to More → Sign out. The next time, you’ll need to authenticate again. Signing out does not delete any data from your account — everything lives on the server.

If you’re going to use mobile mainly as a remote control during services, head over to Remote control. If you want to administer content from your phone, Mobile administration.
