Programs

A program is the ordered list of items you’ll project during the service: songs, Bible passages, presentations, media. Think of it as the complete setlist for the service.

The program lives in the center panel of the main window.

  1. File → New program from the top menu.
  2. Give it a descriptive name (e.g. “Sunday service Jan 12”).
  3. Start adding items.

Programs save automatically. To force a save, use File → Save program from the menu.

Three ways:

MethodHow
Double-clickOn any sidebar item (song, presentation, media) — it’s added to the end of the program
Drag and dropDrag from the sidebar to the center panel — you can drop between two items to insert in the middle
+ Add item buttonMenu with all the types: song, Bible, media, presentation, text slide, YouTube
  • Song — a block with all its sections (verse, chorus, etc.) ready to project as slides.
  • Bible passage — reference + version; each verse is a slide.
  • Presentation — PDF or PPTX converted to slides.
  • Media — image, audio, video, or YouTube.
  • Text slide — free text with formatting (titles, lists, quotes).
  • Logo / black screen — can be added explicitly as an item for planned transitions.

Drag items in the center panel to change the order. The numbering on the left updates automatically.

  • Double-click the item to open its editor.
  • Right-click shows actions: Edit, Duplicate, Remove from program, Project this item, etc.
  • Save program (menu File → Save program) — forces a save of the current program.
  • To open an existing program, head to the center panel → program selector (list with search).

Programs sync automatically with the server, so the team in the web panel sees them too.

For services with a repeated structure (same order every Sunday):

  1. Build a “template” program with the basic order (opening, opening song, announcements, Bible, message, etc.).
  2. For each service, duplicate it from the web panel or from the File → Duplicate program menu.
  3. Rename the copy and adjust the songs specific to that service.

Once built:

  1. Click the first item to start projecting it.
  2. Arrow keys ( ) move between slides of the current item.
  3. Esc sends to black screen (without losing position).
  4. Cmd/Ctrl + G opens the grid with all the program’s slides so you can jump to a specific one with a click.

If the order changes live (typical when the worship leader decides on the fly), just drag items in the center panel. The program updates, and team members with the web panel open also see the change in real time.

Don’t confuse them:

  • Program — full order of a specific service, with songs, Bible, presentations, everything.
  • Repertoire — list of songs for rehearsals or seasons, without a rigid order and without other item types. See Repertoires.

To make the service more visual, add Media and Themes to the program.
