Mobile administration

Beyond the remote control, the mobile app lets you administer almost all of your organization’s content. It’s ideal for quick edits during the week without opening the laptop.

Everything you edit on mobile syncs automatically to the web panel and to the desktop app (on its next sync).

The home screen shows you:

  • Next service — date, assigned program, pending roles.
  • Recent activity — songs added, presentations processed, new members.
  • Quick links — direct buttons to remote control, repertoire, and calendar.

From Songs you can:

  • Search by title, author, or lyric snippet.
  • View the detail of a song (full lyrics with sections).
  • Create a new song — title, author, lyrics, sections.
  • Edit an existing song — by tapping the edit button at the top right.
  • Delete a song (with confirmation).
  • Mark favorites so they appear first.

Lists use pull-to-refresh (swipe down) to update, and infinite scroll to load more results as you scroll down.

Programs lists all your organization’s programs (services).

  • Create a new program from the floating button.
  • Reorder items inside the program by dragging.
  • Add items — songs, Bible passages, presentations, media, text slides.
  • Duplicate a previous program as the basis for the next one.
  • Assign to a calendar event.

Calendar shows the upcoming events in your organization (services, rehearsals, meetings).

For each event you can:

  • See the assigned roles (preacher, worship leader, operator, etc.) and who’s in each one.
  • Accept or reject an assignment if it was assigned to you.
  • Comment on the event (comments reach the rest of the team’s notifications).
  • View the program associated with the event.

If the organization has Google Calendar linked, events also show up in your native calendar.

Media holds images, audio, video, and YouTube links.

  • Upload from your phone — photos from the gallery, audio from the phone.
  • Paste YouTube links — the app decides whether to embed or download.
  • Delete old files.
  • Thumbnails load on demand to save data.

File limits (same as the web panel):

  • Images: up to 10 MB
  • Audio: up to 50 MB
  • Video: up to 500 MB

From Presentations you can:

  • See the list with thumbnails of the first slide.
  • Open a presentation to see all of its slides.
  • Delete presentations you no longer use.
  • Upload a PDF or PPTX from your phone (PPTX is converted on the server).

While a presentation is processing, a spinner appears; when it finishes, a push notification arrives.

Worship sets are curated lists of songs (rehearsals, seasons, special events). From mobile you can:

  • Create a new worship set and name it.
  • Add songs from the catalog.
  • Reorder the songs.
  • Share the worship set with the team (every member sees it).

Handy so the music team has the rehearsal setlist on their phone.

If your organization uses Upload links (public forms where members upload files without an account), from Upload links you can:

  • See active links and how many files are waiting for approval.
  • Review submitted files — see the thumbnail, download them.
  • Approve or reject each file. Approved files go into the organization’s media library.
  • Close an upload link when you no longer want any more uploads.

Useful for collecting retreat photos, choir audio, etc., without asking everyone to create an account.

From More → Settings you can access the following sections:

What you do on mobile:

  • Shows up on the web panel the next time someone opens that page or refreshes.
  • Reaches the desktop app on its next sync (automatic when there’s internet, or manual via the sync button).

You don’t need to do anything special: everything goes to the same server with the same account.

Things you can’t do from mobile (yet):

  • Create or edit visual themes (typography, colors, animated backgrounds). That’s reserved for the desktop app.
  • Import songs from LRCLIB. You can from the desktop app and the web panel.
  • Change plan or payment method (done from the web panel).
  • Administer advanced member roles (mobile shows the list, but to change roles the web panel is better).

If you haven’t set up notifications yet, now is a good time. If you run into any issue, check out Troubleshooting.
